by Anthony Norman, normana@chalmers.se  (the master´s thesis pages for CSE have been moved to CANVAS., but this particular page about preparation for the seminars is still in use during 2019)

Hi and welcome to the preparation page for the first workshop. You need to make sure that you watch all of the videos, read all of the descriptions, complete all the exercises, and bring your completed exercises to the workshop.

Also, please bring 3 articles that you will use in your research/writing. We will use these 'central' articles for analysis.

Here are all the in-class slides for this seminar

NOTE: For all videos I have provided 2 links, a main one to the Chalmers mediasite and an alternative to youtube, in order to ensure that everyone can view the videos. If the Chalmers link is having problems buffering, either wait a while for it to pre-load, or switch to the youtube link. You can also lower the quality of the youtube video to minimize loss while streaming if you’re on a laggy connection.

NOTE: If you have any issues or questions related to the preparation material, email Anthony Norman (normana@chalmers.se)

The following link takes you to a short welcome video which introduces your teachers, gives an overview of what is covered in the workshops and briefly covers pedagogical aspects of the workshops.

Remember: While watching the videos it is a good idea to pause at certain times in order to fully understand the concept being discussed. We have deliberately kept the videos short in order for you to be able to re-watch segments and fully understand and work through the examples provided. Make sure to write down any questions or uncertainties which arise as a result of the videos or exercises.
