GF: Resource grammar for a new language
GF already has support for 30 languages, each specified by a resource grammar. So far we have Afrikans, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Latvian, Maltese, Mongolian, Nepali, Norwegian, Persian, Panjabi, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Sindhi, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, and Urdu. If you are a proficient speaker of a language that is not in the list then that would be a suitable MSc project. Every new language is welcome and it usually comes with its own challenges. Even if your language is already in the list but you have suggestions for possible extensions or new applications this will still be a possible project. For some languages like Swahili, Turkish and Arabic there is already some initial work done but the grammars are far from complete. The completion of these languages is very welcome.
